With this tool your files never leave your device. The merging is performed by JavaScript inside your own browser, so no document is uploaded, stored or seen by anyone. That makes it safe for contracts, invoices, medical records and other confidential PDFs.

Do I need Adobe Acrobat to merge PDF files?

Is there a file size or file count limit?

You can merge up to 100 PDF files at once, with a maximum of 150 MB per file and roughly 500 MB in total. Because processing happens in your browser, the real limit is your device's memory; for very large batches, merging in two or three smaller groups works best.

Will merging my PDFs reduce the quality?

No. By default the original page objects are copied into the new document without re-compressing or rasterising anything, so text stays selectable, images keep their original resolution and file quality is unchanged. File size stays close to the sum of the originals.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

PDFs that only restrict editing or printing usually merge fine. Files that require a password to open cannot be decrypted in the browser, because this tool never asks for or transmits passwords. Remove the open password in your PDF reader first, then merge.

Can I merge PDFs on my phone?

Yes. The tool is fully responsive and works in mobile Safari on iPhone and iPad, in Chrome on Android, and on any other modern mobile browser. Tap Choose PDF files to pick documents from your Files app, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or Downloads.
